Michelle Agyemang wins Euro 2025 Young Player award

Michelle Agyemang has been named Euro 2025 Young Player of the Tournament — crowning England’s successful defense of their European championship title.

England secured their second consecutive title after defeating Spain on penalties in the final. Chloe Kelly emerged as the hero with her decisive penalty conversion.

Agyemang delivered impressive performances throughout the tournament — scoring a vital equalizer against Sweden in the quarter-finals and a dramatic 96th-minute goal against Italy in the semi-finals.

“I’m so happy, I think I cried. I thank God for where he’s brought us as a team,” Agyemang told the BBC.

“Don’t give up when you see other people around you that are progressing faster than you are. Back yourself believe in your abilities… You’ll get there,” the 19-year-old advised young fans.
