Michele Pirro: Ducati Remains Dominant in MotoGP After Aragon

Michele Pirro, Ducati’s test rider, shared his insights about the team’s performance — while speaking at the CIV Night 2025 event at Misano circuit.

“After two strange races in Le Mans and Silverstone, some tried to talk about Ducati being in crisis. Aragon has proven that Ducati is not just surviving, but continuing to improve with all its riders,” stated Pirro.

The test rider emphasized that while Marc Marquez shows outstanding performance — other Ducati riders remain competitive. Pirro also discussed Francesco Bagnaia’s condition who faces some minor issues but still manages to compete at the top level.

Regarding technical aspects, Pirro explained the differences between Desmosedici GP24 and GP25 are relatively minimal. He added that the use of larger diameter brake discs has positive impacts — both mentally and technically on Bagnaia’s performance.
