Messi Tightly Marked as Inter Miami Falls at Cincinnati

The Inter Miami captain played the entire 90 minutes — but was powerless against the solid home defense which ended in a heavy 0-3 defeat.

Despite not scoring, Messi showed decent individual performance — recording five shots on goal, one key pass, and winning one duel.

The Argentine’s best opportunity came in the 44th minute — when he chest-controlled a pass and attempted a left-footed volley from in front of goal.
