The Badminton World Federation (BWF) has released an updated world ranking following the Sudirman Cup 2025. Kim Astrup/Anders Skaarup Rasmussen of Denmark remain firmly at the top of the men’s doubles standings.

The runner-up position is held by Malaysia’s Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzuddin, followed by China’s Liang Wei Keng/Wang Chang in third place. Indonesia’s Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto climbed to fourth in the world, overtaking Malaysia’s Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik.

Two other Indonesian pairs dropped in the rankings — Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana fell to 10th, and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Daniel Marthin slid to 12th. These shifts came after China’s Chen Bo Yang/Liu Yi jumped three spots to rank ninth.

Meanwhile, South Korea’s Kim Won-ho/Seo Seung-jae have shown significant progress. Since being paired earlier this year, they have quickly broken into the elite ranks of world badminton.
