Mehdi Taremi successfully escapes conflict zone in Tehran

According to Gazzetta reports, Inter Milan’s Iranian striker — Mehdi Taremi — has successfully escaped from the dangerous situation in Tehran amid rising tensions between Iran and Israel.

The 32-year-old player was forced to miss the 2025 Club World Cup with Inter Milan — the situation in Tehran prevented him from leaving the city.

Taremi completed a 1015-kilometer journey to his hometown of Bushehr — a location far safer from the conflict center. The former Porto striker traveled by car with his family.

Relieving news has been conveyed by Taremi to Inter Milan — he and his family are now safe in Bushehr.
