According to Bolasport.com, Daejeon JungKwanJang Red Sparks — suffered a defeat in their final match of the sixth Korean Volleyball League season, falling to Gimcheon Korea Expressway Hi-Pass in a hard-fought five-set battle.

Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi delivered an outstanding performance with 38 points — but it wasn’t enough to save her team from a loss with final scores of 20-25, 25-19, 25-19, 17-25, 8-15 at Chungmu Gymnasium, Daejeon.

Coach Ko Hee-jin fielded the main lineup with one change — the libero position filled by Choi Hyo-seo. The match started tight with a 2-2 score before Megawati’s cross-court spike put Red Sparks ahead 3-2.

The Red Sparks built momentum and surged ahead until the first technical timeout, leading 8-4 — where Megawati had already collected five points with a perfect attack success rate, including two additional points from back-row attack plays.
