Megawati Responds to Fan Criticism After 2025 Proliga Matches

South Korean media highlighted Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi’s reaction to fan criticism regarding her performance in the 2025 Proliga final four.

The player from Jember, who had just returned from the Korean Volleyball League with Daejeon JungKwanJang Red Sparks, was criticized for her limited contribution with Gresik Petrokimia Pupuk Indonesia.

Megawati‘s restricted appearances were due to injury recovery after leading Daejeon to the league final. She only got significant court time against Jakarta Pertamina Enduro, where she scored 16 points, followed by a brief appearance against Jakarta Electric PLN.

Jeff Jiang Jie’s team eventually finished third in the final four standings, missing out on the final after being outperformed by Pertamina Enduro and Popsivo Polwan.
