Megawati to Miss AVC Nations Cup 2025 with Indonesia

Loudry Maspaitella, Deputy Head of Athlete Development at PP PBVSI, announced that three players will not join the Indonesia national volleyball team in the upcoming tournament — including Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi.

Despite her impressive performance with Daejeon JungKwanJang Red Sparks in the 2024–2025 Korean Volleyball League, the Jember-born athlete will miss the event due to her wedding plans scheduled for July 2025.

“They will be absent from PBVSI, and we have already replaced them with new players,” said Loudry in PBVSI’s official broadcast.

The two other players also ruled out of the national team are:

• Aulia Suci Nurfadila
• Arsela Nuari Purnama

Although she will not participate in the AVC Nations Cup 2025, the player nicknamed Megatron has affirmed her commitment to return for SEA V-League 2025 representing Indonesia.
