Megawati Leads Red Sparks to Decisive Korean Volleyball League Final

A historic moment awaits the Daejeon team — they return to the final after a long 13-year wait. Red Sparks, previously known as Daejeon Korea Ginseng Corp, holds the record for the longest wait to reach the final stage.

The team’s last final appearance in the 2011-2012 season ended with a championship. Since then, Red Sparks only managed to reach the playoffs three times — in the 2013-2014, 2016-2017, and 2023-2024 seasons.
