Megawati Hangestri to hold two wedding receptions in July

Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi, former volleyball player for Daejeon JungKwanJang Red Sparks — is set to end her single life this month, according to confirmation from Red Sparks officials to My Daily.

The 26-year-old volleyball athlete will hold two wedding receptions — first on July 4 in her hometown, and second on July 12 in her future husband’s hometown.

Megawati’s future husband is Dio Novandra — an Indonesian national finswimming team athlete also born in 1999. Dio attended to provide direct support during the 2024-2025 Korean Volleyball League playoffs and finals.

“My boyfriend came to watch me play when I was in Indonesia. There are emotions that emerge when you’re in a relationship, and when I receive cheers, I have more energy and can focus better,” Megawati revealed after the fourth Final match against Pink Spiders.

During her career with Red Sparks since the 2023-2024 season, Megawati recorded impressive achievements — appearing in 35 matches with 736 total points and an attack success rate of 43.95%.
