Megawati Hangestri scores 802 points in Korean Volleyball League this season

Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi—one of Indonesia’s top female volleyball players—has completed her second regular season in the 2024-2025 Korean Volleyball League with remarkable achievements.

The Jember-born athlete scored 802 points throughout six rounds of competition — marking a significant increase from her previous season’s tally of 736 points.

In the final match at Chungmu Gymnasium, Daejeon, Megawati delivered an outstanding performance with 38 points — consisting of 36 attack points and 2 block points — as Daejeon JungKwanJang Red Sparks faced Gimcheon Korea Expressway Hi-Pass.

Despite achieving the highest attack success rate of 62.29% and playing in the first four sets, the Red Sparks ultimately fell to Hi-Pass in a five-set battle.
