Megawati Hangestri joins Gresik Petrokimia for Proliga Final Four

Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi – a volleyball player from Jember, East Java – has joined Gresik Petrokimia Pupuk Indonesia for the 2025 Proliga Final Four.

The 25-year-old athlete recently completed a long season with Daejeon JungKwanJang Red Sparks in Korean League – where she suffered a foot injury during the finals that required her to use a wheelchair upon returning to Indonesia.

Although her name is already listed in the roster for the Final Four starting today, Gresik Petrokimia emphasizes its commitment to maintaining the condition of the player nicknamed Megatron.

The presence of Megawati Hangestri becomes valuable ammunition for Gresik Petrokimia – one of the contestants in the Final Four stage who will compete with three other teams in women’s category.
