Mbappe still unwell, to miss Real Madrid vs Pachuca match

According to AFP reports, Kylian Mbappe — who was recently hospitalized due to acute gastroenteritis — won’t be available for Real Madrid’s upcoming fixture.

The Los Blancos’ key striker was absent during his team’s 1-1 draw against Al Hilal in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup — his incomplete recovery means he’ll miss the match against Pachuca as well.

Though released from hospital after undergoing a series of medical tests — the French national team captain still requires additional recovery time.

Coach Xabi Alonso previously gave Gonzalo Garcia the opportunity to fill Mbappe’s position — the young forward managed to deliver a satisfactory performance against Al Hilal.
