Max Verstappen Arrives In Miami By Private Jet Ahead Of GP Race

Max Verstappen made headlines once again after arriving in Miami via his luxurious Falcon 8X private jet, just ahead of the Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend.

The $50 million aircraft landed Thursday night, hours before the weekend’s race schedule began. Verstappen was granted special permission from Red Bull and FIA to skip Thursday’s media day due to personal reasons.

Red Bull Confirms Absence

“Max will not be attending media day in Miami as he is expecting a baby. All is well and he will attend the track tomorrow for the race weekend,” said a Red Bull Racing representative.

Family and Fatherhood

The 27-year-old Dutchman is expecting his first child with partner Kelly Piquet, daughter of three-time world champion Nelson Piquet.

Kelly has a daughter named Penelope from a previous relationship with ex-F1 driver Daniil Kvyat.

Nico Hülkenberg, the only other active F1 driver who is a parent, joked:
