Mauricio Souza confirms Persija to add foreign players next season

According to Bolasport.com, coach Mauricio Souza confirmed that Persija Jakarta will bring in additional foreign players for the Super League 2025/2026 competition.

Currently, Macan Kemayoran has six foreign players in their squad:

  • Carlos Eduardo
  • Van Basty Sousa
  • Fabio Silva
  • Ryo Matsumura
  • Gustavo Franca
  • Gustavo Franca

Regarding team preparation for the new season, Mauricio Souza emphasized the importance of the pre-season period to achieve positive results.

“I don’t know what percentage we’re at, but I continue to execute the plan for team preparation,” said Souza.
