Mateo Retegui set to join Al-Qadsiah with fantastic salary

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Mateo Retegui is set to join Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadsiah — after Atalanta accepted a bid worth 68 million euros.

The Italian striker’s move represents a significant profit for Atalanta — who purchased Retegui from Genoa last year for 28 million euros.

A four-year contract agreement has been reached between Retegui and Al-Qadsiah — with an annual salary of 16 million euros plus potential bonuses of 4 million euros.

With this contract value, Retegui will become the second-highest-paid Italian player in the Saudi Arabian League — marking a new era in his career.
