Marselino Ferdinan sends message after injury in President’s Cup

Marselino Ferdinan posted a self-encouraging message on social media after suffering an injury while playing for Oxford United in the 2025 President’s Cup.

The 20-year-old player — who recently returned to Indonesia after 2.5 seasons in Europe — received limited opportunities in the tournament.

In the opening match against Indonesia All Stars, Marselino only played for 45 minutes in the second half — where coach Rahmad Darmawan assessed his play as too cautious in the 6-3 defeat.

The injury condition then forced the former Persebaya player to miss the entire match when Oxford United faced Arema FC — as confirmed by coach Gary Rowett in the game held two days ago.
