Marselino Ferdinan reveals Oxford United’s serious preparation for President’s Cup

Marselino Ferdinan made a firm statement regarding Oxford United’s preparation ahead of the 2025 President’s Cup during a press conference in Senayan, Jakarta.

This pre-season tournament will bring together six teams divided into two groups:

• Group A: Oxford United, Arema FC, Liga Indonesia All Star
• Group B: Port FC, Persib Bandung, Dewa United

Mental rivalry is already visible between Marselino Ferdinan, Asnawi Mangkualam from Port FC, and Marc Klok from Persib Bandung — each optimistic about their team’s chances.

“First, thank you, perhaps I represent other friends at Oxford United, we express our gratitude. Before coming here, we underwent extraordinary preparation, including physical training,” stated Marselino.

The former Persebaya Surabaya player emphasized that Oxford United came to Indonesia well-prepared — the team has undergone intensive physical training since being in England to face this tournament.
