Marquez Dominates Ducati While Bagnaia Still Searching for Best Form

Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia are displaying vastly different performances heading into the 2025 British MotoGP at Silverstone. The new Ducati recruit, Marquez, has asserted himself as the team’s top contender — while defending champion Bagnaia continues to struggle with consistency.

Marquez Shows Complete Control on Ducati

The rider nicknamed “Baby Alien” has demonstrated exceptional adaptability to the Ducati Desmosedici GP. Marquez has won all six sprint races so far and climbed the main race podium four times, including three dominant victories, solidifying his position at the top of the championship standings.

Bagnaia Yet to Regain World Champion Rhythm

In contrast, Francesco Bagnaia — the 2022 and 2023 MotoGP world champion — has not matched his past form this season. The Italian rider has only secured one main race win and three additional podium finishes, along with four podiums in sprint races. Despite riding the same competitive Ducati machine, Bagnaia is still looking for the rhythm that defined his previous title-winning campaigns.
