The arrival of star riders at top motorsport teams — Marc Marquez at Ducati and Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari — has introduced intriguing new dynamics to the racing world.

A comparison of the achievements of these veterans and their teammates reveals significant gaps—Hamilton’s seven world titles far surpass Charles Leclerc’s eight career wins, while Marquez’s six MotoGP championships overshadow Francesco Bagnaia’s two titles.

The disparity is even greater in terms of popularity Hamilton commands 39.2 million Instagram followers compared to Leclerc’s 17.8 million, while Marquez’s 7.4 million far exceed Bagnaia’s 1.7 million.

Marquez has wasted no time asserting his dominance with Ducatisecuring flawless victories in Thailand and Argentina—claiming pole positions, and winning both the sprint and main races.

“We already knew Marquez the rider – he’s a phenomenon. But we’ve now discovered Marc the person, and he’s even more exceptional.” a Ducati team member praised.

Ducati general manager Gigi Dall’Igna emphasizes the team’s ambition to build the strongest MotoGP squad in history. Meanwhile, Bagnaia remains composed in the face of this challenge — however, the real test looms at the Circuit of The Americas in AustinMarquez’s favorite track, where he has claimed seven premier-class victories.
