Marcus Rashford Set to Return to Manchester United in July

According to ESPN, Marcus Rashford plans to rejoin Manchester United’s training in July — if no transfer agreement is reached beforehand.

Manchester United is open to transfer offers for several players — including Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Alejandro Garnacho. Barcelona, Inter Milan, Juventus, Bayern Munich, and several Premier League clubs have shown interest, but no formal offers have been submitted.

The England international who remains under contract until 2028 — has just completed a loan spell at Aston Villa with four goals in 17 appearances. United prefers a permanent transfer option, though not ruling out a new loan deal, with an expected transfer value of around £40 million.

Head coach Ruben Amorim hasn’t made a decision regarding the squad composition for the preseason tour to the United States. Meanwhile, Rashford himself prefers a move to a Champions League participating club — to enhance his chances of making England’s squad for the 2026 World Cup.
