Marcus Rashford impresses in brief Barcelona debut

Marcus Rashford marked his Barcelona debut in a preseason match against Vissel Kobe — though only featuring as a second-half substitute.

The Manchester United loanee entered the field after the break when coach Hansi Flick made multiple substitutions — his total playing time amounted to just 33 minutes.

Despite his brief appearance, Rashford made a significant impact by creating Barcelona’s second goal. His through ball to Robert Lewandowski led to a goal scored by Roony Bardghji in the 77th minute.

Lewandowski received Rashford’s pass, managed to beat the defense in the penalty box, before setting up an unmarked Bardghji to finish the opportunity.
