Marcus Rashford accepts pay cut to join Barcelona

According to Fabrizio Romano, Marcus Rashford has landed in Barcelona to complete his loan move from Manchester United this summer.

The 27-year-old striker arrived in Catalunya on Sunday night — scheduled for medical tests today before official presentation with club president Joan Laporta tomorrow.

Rashford has shown his strong commitment to join the La Liga champions — agreeing to take a significant pay cut from his current United wages of 325,000 pounds per week.

Despite being contracted to the Red Devils until 2028, the United academy graduate has chosen to adjust his salary to Barcelona’s financial structure to make his move to Spain possible.
