Marco Bezzecchi ready to maintain Italian dominance at Mugello Circuit

Aprilia rider Marco Bezzecchi is prepared to make his mark in front of home crowd at the 2025 Italian MotoGP at Mugello Circuit — a race scheduled for this weekend.

Following his maiden victory with Aprilia at British MotoGP about three weeks ago, Bezzecchi appears confident heading into this season’s ninth round at the 5.25-kilometer track located in Tuscany region.

Mugello Circuit holds special significance for Italian riders — evident from the home riders’ dominance on this track that combines straight sectors with flowing corners.

Bezzecchi’s mentor at VR46 Riders Academy, Valentino Rossi, still holds the record with seven consecutive victories at Italian MotoGP between 2002 and 2008.
