Marc Marquez unfazed by Italian fans’ jeers at Mugello

According to GPOne, Marc Marquez received an unfavorable welcome from home crowd after claiming Sprint victory at the 2025 Italian MotoGP at Mugello Circuit.

The Spanish Ducati Lenovo rider — who secured both pole position and Sprint win — was met with whistles and shouts during podium ceremony.

This negative reaction from Italian public appears to stem from old rivalry between Marquez and Valentino Rossi — despite Marquez now riding for Italian manufacturer.

“I think this is the perfect year to win at Mugello,” stated Marquez who claimed his first victory at this circuit since 11 years ago.
