Marc Marquez conducted an intensive testing program with Ducati at the Jerez Circuit, focusing on evaluating various components previously tested in Thailand.

“It was a long program with several components to try. Some were already tested in Thailand and felt good,” said Marquez.

The Spanish rider adjusted the position of the left-side lever on his bike — a contrast to teammate Francesco Bagnaia, who kept the original position.

“The small lever on the left adjusts rear load at the race start. I moved it because it was bothering me, unlike Pecco, who left it as it was,” Marquez explained.

The test also included evaluations of new Michelin tires and refinement of the electronics system — all without changing the current performance base.

“We focused on improving performance without losing our foundation. Some areas can still evolve, but overall, it doesn’t change the feeling I have,” he added.

With the 2027 tire supplier change approaching, Marquez also tested different compounds to help Ducati prepare in advance.
