Marc Marquez of the Ducati Lenovo team is cautiously managing expectations ahead of the 2025 MotoGP Americas round at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) — a circuit where he’s famously dominated in past seasons.

The COTA circuit, known for its counter-clockwise direction similar to Sachsenring, Aragon, and Phillip Island, has traditionally been a stronghold for Marquez. The Spaniard secured six straight pole positions and victories from 2013 to 2018, marking an exceptional streak.

However, following his dramatic crash while leading in 2019, Marquez has approached this race more carefully in recent seasons.

Ahead of the event, Marquez shared his mindset:

“We’ve started this season positively. I feel very comfortable with the bike and team. Every session helps our connection get better. But it’s important we remain focused and maintain full concentration.”

The eight-time world champion clearly aims to balance confidence with a level-headed approach at one of his favorite tracks.
