Marc Marquez shows strength at Assen despite double crash

Ducati team manager Davide Tardozzi has shown full support for Marc Marquez who experienced two serious crashes during practice sessions at the 2025 Dutch MotoGP at Assen Circuit.

The rider nicknamed Baby Alien suffered heavy incidents in two different sessions — FP1 and practice resulting in hip bruising and requiring stitches to his chin.

Despite the injuries, Marc Marquez demonstrated his resilience by securing fourth starting position after setting a time of 1 minute 30.871 seconds — just 0.220 seconds behind Fabio Quartararo who claimed pole position.

Fabio Quartararo from Monster Energy Yamaha secured his fourth pole position of the season, while Marquez’s injury condition appeared to limit his speed potential until the end of qualifying session.
