Marc Marquez shows dominance with Ducati in 2025 MotoGP

Marc Marquez — the 32-year-old rider who left Repsol Honda at the end of 2023 — is now showing his career resurgence with Ducati.

The Spanish rider’s journey began with Gresini Racing — Ducati’s satellite team — where he paired with his brother Alex Marquez throughout the 2024 season. The eight-time world champion immediately proved his worth by securing 10 podiums and three victories.

Success with the satellite team convinced Ducati to recruit him as Francesco Bagnaia’s teammate. The factory team’s decision proved right — Marquez has collected six podiums with four wins in the main class until last weekend’s GP Aragon.

The dominance of the rider nicknamed Baby Alien is even more evident in sprint races — almost always being the fastest in every short race this season.
