Marc Marquez sets new record with Ducati in 2025 MotoGP mid-season

According to Bolasport.com, Marc Marquez has made history with Ducati by becoming the first rider to achieve five consecutive Grand Prix victories — an unprecedented accomplishment.

The Spanish rider has dominated the first half of the 2025 MotoGP season by securing 19 wins from 24 races — including eight victories from 12 main races.

Ducati General Manager, Luigi Dall’Igna expressed his appreciation via LinkedIn:

“Eight wins this season from 12 races, the 70th in history, and five consecutive double victories in Sprint-GP. Marc is the first Ducati rider to achieve this feat after winning all but one Saturday Sprint race.”

Marc Marquez’s dominance is clearly reflected in his 120-point lead over Alex Marquez in the standings — a gap that brings the Cervera rider closer to his ninth world championship title.
