Marc Marquez Set to Make History at MotoGP Jerez

Record-Breaking Mission in Spain

Marc Marquez is preparing to make history at the MotoGP Jerez Circuit — a track where he has claimed three victories previously with Honda. A home victory this weekend would see the Spanish rider match HRC’s record of 22 consecutive wins, while also securing Spain’s 200th victory in the premier class.

Strong Start with Ducati

“I feel great and ready for the Spanish MotoGP at Jerez. We started strong, with good confidence and results, and we will try to maintain this positive momentum,” said Marquez.

His debut season with Ducati has been impressive so far, with the Spanish rider winning seven out of the first eight races, with his only setback occurring at the Circuit of The Americas.

Championship Lead Heading to Jerez

Currently, Marquez leads the championship with a 17-point advantage over his brother Alex Marquez heading into the European opener at Jerez — a circuit that witnessed his intense battle with Francesco Bagnaia last season.
