Marc Marquez responds to Italian fans’ jeers after Mugello dominance

Ducati Lenovo’s Marc Marquez achieved a remarkable performance at Mugello Circuit — securing both pole position and Sprint victory at the 2025 Italian MotoGP, as reported by Motosan.

The Spanish rider outperformed his teammate Francesco Bagnaia with a narrow margin of 0.059 seconds in qualifying. During the Sprint race, Marquez showed dominance with a 1.4-second lead over Alex Marquez from BK8 Gresini Racing.

Marquez’s impressive performance left some Italian fans displeased — especially after he defeated Bagnaia, who had been unbeaten at Mugello for three consecutive seasons, by 2.5 seconds.

“Yes, no, this is the best year, honestly,” Marquez responded to the jeers he received during the podium ceremony.
