Marc Marquez remains competitive despite crashes at Dutch MotoGP

Marc Marquez experienced a challenging day during the first practice session of the 2025 Dutch MotoGP at Assen Circuit — the Ducati rider was involved in two crash incidents resulting in hip bruising and chin stitches.

Despite these setbacks, Marquez’s performance showed surprising results — the experienced rider managed to record the fastest time in FP1 and finished sixth in the practice session with a time of 1 minute 31.455 seconds, just 0.299 seconds behind Fabio Quartararo from the Yamaha team.

Pedro Acosta from Red Bull KTM acknowledged that Marquez remains one of the strong candidates to win this tenth round of the season, regardless of the incidents he experienced on the opening day.
