Marc Marquez refutes claims of Alex being just an escort at Dutch MotoGP

Marc Marquez silenced critics about his brother, Alex Marquez, who was accused of merely acting as an escort during the 2025 Dutch MotoGP Sprint Race — the Ducati Lenovo rider demonstrated dominant performance in the main race.

The Spanish rider took the lead after overtaking his teammate Francesco Bagnaia on lap five — he maintained the front position for 21 laps until the finish line.

Marco Bezzecchi from Aprilia team, who stayed behind Marquez with less than half a second gap throughout the race, couldn’t even launch an attack despite the smallest gap reaching 0.2 seconds — proving that the eight-time world champion indeed performed flawlessly.
