Marc Marquez receives Tardozzi’s defense after being booed at Italian GP

Marc Marquez achieved perfect results at the Italian GP at Mugello Circuit — the Ducati rider won both sprint race and main race.

The eight-time world champion received an unfavorable reception from spectators while celebrating his sprint race victory. Ducati team manager Davide Tardozzi immediately came to his rider’s defense.

“Quiet, you be quiet, he (Marc Marquez) is red,” Tardozzi insisted while watching Marquez on the sprint race podium.

Marquez’s double victory in this ninth round of MotoGP 2025 marks a special achievement — considering the race took place at Ducati’s home circuit.
