Marc Marquez ready to challenge Bagnaia at Sachsenring

Ducati rider Marc Marquez has a significant opportunity to outperform his teammate Francesco Bagnaia at the 2025 German MotoGP in Sachsenring — a circuit that has been his territory for years.

The rider nicknamed Baby Alien has an impressive record at Sachsenring — winning every race from 2010 to 2019 on the 3.67-kilometer track.

Former MotoGP rider Ruben Xaus observes positive development in Marquez’s performance with the Italian manufacturer.

“Marquez is getting stronger every day on the track and learning from this Ducati or from the racing team,” says Xaus.

“You could see Marquez at Assen coming from a warm track, easy to find rhythm. And at Assen, where the weather was very cold, I think he made two mistakes on his own, because it’s a tricky track, because it was very cold,” he added.
