Marc Marquez loses dominance in German MotoGP practice session

Marc Marquez from Ducati Lenovo team failed to maintain his dominance during the German MotoGP practice session at Sachsenring circuit last night.

The Spanish rider — who previously dominated the Sachsenring track — had to settle for third position after being overtaken by two rivals in the final moments of practice. Fabio Di Giannantonio from Pertamina Enduro VR46 and his own brother, Alex Marquez from Gresini team, managed to record faster times.

“Time attack might be my weak point this weekend because the bike’s balance is more focused on the second part of the race,” Marquez stated.

The performance of his Desmosedici GP25 motorcycle became a technical factor affecting his time attack results — an aspect that the rider acknowledged as his weakness in this practice session.
