Marc Marquez Leads 2025 MotoGP After Ducati Switch

The former Honda HRC Castrol team manager stated that Marc Marquez’s dominance in MotoGP 2025 comes as no surprise.

The Ducati Lenovo rider currently leads the championship with 171 points, holding a 22-point advantage over Alex Marquez of BK8 Gresini Racing and 51 points over Francesco Bagnaia.

Marquez’s impressive performance has only been hindered by three key factors: crashes, weather conditions like those at the French Grand Prix, and Fabio Quartararo‘s qualifying pace.

His decision to leave Repsol Honda for satellite team Ducati Gresini about a year ago has paid off. Riding the Ducati Desmosedici GP23, he has claimed three main race victories and dominated last season’s Aragon Grand Prix.
