Marc Marquez heading towards MotoGP world title with Ducati

Marc Marquez has shown extraordinary dominance in the first half of the 2025 MotoGP season with his new Ducati team. The 32-year-old rider — who joined the Italian factory team this year — has accumulated 381 points from 12 races completed.

The Alien’s — Marquez’s nickname — performance surpasses his teammate Francesco Bagnaia who has been with Ducati for four years. Eight victories and total of 10 podiums in main races prove Marquez’s perfect adaptation to the Desmosedici motorcycle.

The Spanish rider’s dominance is further evident from his near-perfect sprint race record — with the only non-victory being a second-place finish at Silverstone Circuit. A 120-point lead over Alex Marquez from Gresini Racing in second position, and 168-point margin over Bagnaia in third place, brings Marc Marquez closer to his eighth world title.
