Marc Marquez favored to win Dutch MotoGP

Dorna Sports broadcaster Louis Suddaby has predicted that Marc Marquez will claim victory at the Dutch MotoGP — scheduled for this weekend at the Assen Circuit.

The Ducati rider faces a significant challenge from his teammate Francesco Bagnaia — who has won three consecutive seasons at the Cathedral of Speed since 2022.

Marquez’s record at Assen since his premier class debut in 2013 has been mixed:

• Two victories in 2014 and 2018
• Several podiums and crash incidents
• Absences due to injuries
• Tenth place finish last year with Gresini Racing

Nevertheless, the eight-time world champion is determined to prove himself with the Ducati factory team at this 4.54-kilometer track.
