Marc Marquez dominates MotoGP standings with 40-point lead

Marc Marquez — Ducati Lenovo rider — is currently dominating the 2025 MotoGP world championship with notably less competition compared to previous seasons.

The Spanish rider now leads by 40 points ahead of his closest rival — who happens to be his own brother, Alex Marquez — after nine racing series.

Marc’s teammate, Francesco Bagnaia, who was previously predicted to be the main title contender — has yet to show optimal performance approaching the mid-season break.

Marc himself refuses to compare his current dominance with his performance six years ago — when he claimed his sixth MotoGP world championship title in 2019.
