Marc Marquez dominates Italian MotoGP with perfect victory at Mugello

Marc Marquez achieved a perfect victory at the 2025 Italian MotoGP held at Mugello Circuit. The Ducati Lenovo rider — who now leads the championship with 270 points — managed to dominate the entire race weekend by securing pole position, fastest lap record, sprint race victory, and main race win.

His 93rd career victory became even more special as Alex Marquez — his younger brother trailing by 40 points in the standings — finished in second place. Meanwhile, Fabio Di Giannantonio from Pertamina Enduro VR46 team claimed the third position.

Francesco Bagnaia, who initially battled closely with the Marquez duo — had to settle for a position outside the podium after his pace dropped in the final stages. The rider now trailing 110 points behind the championship leader was overtaken by Di Giannantonio in the last three laps.
