Marc Marquez dominates German GP with commanding win at Sachsenring

Marc Marquez dominated at the Sachsenring circuit to claim his ninth MotoGP victory at this track. The factory Ducati rider led from start to finish, building a lead of over six seconds.

His brother Alex Marquez from Gresini Ducati secured second place, while teammate Francesco Bagnaia completed the podium in third position in a race that saw only ten riders cross the finish line.

Multiple incidents occurred at Turn 1, which proved challenging for several riders:

  • Fabio Di Giannantonio crashed under braking
  • Johann Zarco suffered the same fate moments later
  • Marco Bezzecchi lost control at the same spot

Fabio Quartararo finished fourth on the factory Yamaha after defending against Fermin Aldeguer in the closing laps. The dry and sunny conditions provided ideal racing weather despite the high attrition rate.
