Marc Marquez dominates 2025 MotoGP, catches Melandri’s attention

Former MotoGP rider Marco Melandri has turned his attention to Marc Marquez’s commanding performance in the 2025 MotoGP season with Ducati.

The rider nicknamed Baby Alien proved his class at last weekend’s Dutch GP — claiming victories in both sprint race and main race despite not starting from pole position.

Marc Marquez’s dominance is reflected in his 307 championship points — leading by 68 points over his brother Alex Marquez who crashed at Assen.

As a Ducati newcomer, Marc Marquez has even outperformed his teammate Francesco Bagnaia who holds factory rider status — building a 126-point gap to the third-placed rider in the standings.
