Marc Marquez conquers previously challenging Assen Circuit

Marc Marquez has conquered the Assen Circuit that he previously struggled with — the Ducati rider won the 2025 Dutch MotoGP on Sunday (29/6).

This victory is particularly special considering Marquez experienced two crash incidents on the first day — yet that didn’t prevent him from delivering a dominant performance on race day.

This result further solidifies Marc Marquez’s position atop the championship standings with 307 points — leading by 68 points over Alex Marquez who failed to finish due to a crash.

Francesco Bagnaia from Ducati team secured third place, while intense competition occurred in mid-field — Maverick Vinales (Red Bull KTM Tech3) and Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha) completed the race in tenth position.

The riders will return to battle at Sachsenring Circuit for the German MotoGP in two weeks’ time.
