Marc Marquez claims seventh pole position of the season at German MotoGP

Marc Marquez — Ducati Lenovo rider — set the fastest time during the German MotoGP 2025 qualifying session at Sachsenring Circuit. The 32-year-old rider managed to clock 1 minute 27.811 seconds — an achievement that earned him his seventh pole position this season and his 63rd in the premier class.

This accomplishment also marks the 700th pole position for the Spanish team across all racing categories. Despite facing wet track conditions and several highside incidents from his competitors — Marquez maintained his exceptional performance.

“No rider goes out on track thinking about safety,” stated Marquez regarding his strategy in wet conditions.

The Ducati rider even managed to save his bike from a near slip without losing significant time — a demonstration of skill that proves his dominance at the Sachsenring circuit known for its difficult overtaking opportunities.
