Marc Marquez achieved a remarkable feat with Ducati Lenovo by winning the 2025 Italian MotoGP Sprint at Mugello Circuit — his first victory at this track in 11 years.

Despite now representing an Italian manufacturer, some home fans still haven’t embraced the Spanish rider’s presence — a lingering effect of his past rivalry with Valentino Rossi remains evident.

Tension escalated during the podium ceremony when jeers erupted from the spectator stands. Ducati Lenovo team manager, Davide Tardozzi, responded strongly to this unsportsmanlike behavior.

“Silence, all of you silence,” Tardozzi shouted at the heckling fans.
