Marc Marquez claims Dutch MotoGP victory while brother suffers crash

Marc Marquez secured victory in the 10th round of the 2025 Dutch MotoGP at Assen Circuit — despite the race being marked by a crash incident involving his brother, Alex Marquez.

The Spanish rider started from fourth position — but managed to take the lead from the first lap. Marquez capitalized on Francesco Bagnaia’s mistake at the final chicane to claim the front position and maintained it until the finish line.

“I’m very happy. I’m really grateful for our team’s hard work, since Friday. Not just Friday but throughout this weekend,” Marquez said at parc ferme.

This victory becomes more significant considering Marquez experienced two crashes during free practice sessions — yet these setbacks didn’t stop the determination of the rider known as The Ant from Cervera.
