Marc Marquez claims dramatic Dutch GP victory after last corner overtake

Marc Marquez demonstrated his mastery with a dramatic victory at the 2025 Dutch MotoGP — cementing his dominance this season at the Assen Circuit.

The Ducati Lenovo rider started from third position, but managed to take the race lead from Francesco Bagnaia on lap five — maintaining it until the finish line with a brilliant maneuver at the final chicane.

Marco Bezzecchi from Aprilia team secured second place, while Francesco Bagnaia had to settle for third podium despite setting the fastest lap time of 1 minute 32.220 seconds.

This victory completes Marquez’s hat-trick following his wins at Italian GP and Aragon GP — a feat he last achieved about six years ago with Repsol Honda.

Meanwhile, drama unfolded as Alex Marquez crashed out after an intense battle with Pedro Acosta from KTM Red Bull team.
