Marc Marquez cautious about Bagnaia’s resurgence at Dutch MotoGP

Marc Marquez of Ducati Lenovo team expresses his vigilance regarding Francesco Bagnaia’s potential comeback ahead of the 2025 Dutch MotoGP — a race known for its high difficulty level.

Marquez’s record at Assen Circuit isn’t as impressive as Bagnaia’s — the six-time MotoGP world champion has only secured two victories in the premier class in 2014 and 2018. The circuit nicknamed Cathedral of Speed has challenging technical characteristics with 12 right turns out of 18 turns — a situation that requires Marquez to work extra with his previously injured right arm.

“Last year I really suffered with Ducati here, throughout the weekend. Both in sprint and main race last year, there were tire pressure issues and the feeling wasn’t quite right,” Marquez stated.

The situation is different now as Marquez rides the Ducati Desmosedici GP25 — a motorcycle offering better performance and control than before.
